Media Advisory: Minister to Make Announcement Regarding
Emergency 911 Services

The Honourable Kevin O’Brien, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Minister Responsible for Fire and Emergency Services, will make an announcement concerning emergency 911 services and release a report into 911/E911 Feasibility in Newfoundland and Labrador tomorrow (Friday, June 22). The study was undertaken by POMAX Consulting Incorporated.

A technical briefing will be provided to media at 10:30 a.m. in the Media Centre, East Block, Confederation Building.

The briefing will be followed by a news conference, also in the Media Centre, at 11:00 a.m.
