Public Advisory: Pre-Budget Consultations in Labrador
Rescheduled for February 2
The Department of Finance advises the public that the pre-budget consultations in Wabush and Happy Valley-Goose Bay have been rescheduled for Thursday, February 2.
The consultation in Wabush will take place 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Town Hall Council Chambers.
The consultation in Happy Valley-Goose Bay will take place 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Labrador Friendship Centre.
The full schedule for pre-budget consultations was announced on January 6 and can be found in the backgrounder below.
Anyone wishing to participate in one of these meetings must register at least 48 hours in advance by phoning 709-729-2944 or emailing budget@gov.nl.ca.
For those unable to attend, written submissions can be made via mail to: Minister of Finance, c/o Pre-Budget 2012, Department of Finance, P.O. Box 8700, St. John’s, NL, A1B 4J6. Submissions may also be emailed to budgetsubmissions@gov.nl.ca or faxed to 709-729-2070.
