Media Advisory: Minister to Participate in Waypoints Build a Camp Day

The Honourable Charlene Johnson, Minister of Child, Youth and Family Services, will join volunteers tomorrow (Wednesday, July 11) at 10:00 a.m. for Waypoints first Build a Camp Day. Volunteers will perform a variety of tasks such as landscaping, trail grooming and beach development.

The Waypoints Adventure Camp will provide children and youth with the opportunity to benefit from therapeutic, challenge-based recreation and adventure in a camp-like setting.

The event will take place at Southwest Pond, Salmonier Line, which is approximately two kilometres south off the Trans Canada Highway at Exit 35.
