Public Advisory: Wildlife Detection System Near Grand Falls-Windsor Out of Service

The Department of Transportation and Works advises that the wildlife detection system located on the Trans Canada Highway just east of Grand Falls-Windsor is currently out of service due to the failure of an electrical component.

Necessary replacement parts have been ordered and repairs will be carried out as soon as possible. The system is expected to be operational again early next week.

Drivers are reminded to use caution and drive according to road conditions.
