Public Advisory: Labrador Marine Service Update

The Department of Transportation and Works advises that due to improved ice conditions, passenger and freight services through the MV Northern Ranger and MV Dutch Runner have been extended to include Natuashish and Nain.

The MV Northern Ranger departed Natuashish 8:00 a.m. today (Wednesday, June 15) and will arrive at Nain at approximately 12:30 p.m. today. It is scheduled to depart Nain at 3:30 p.m. today.

Upon arrival in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, the MV Dutch Runner will load freight for all ports north to Nain.

The marine terminals at Lewisporte and Happy Valley-Goose Bay are now accepting freight for all communities on the north coast of Labrador.
