Public Advisory: Labrador Ferry Service

The Department of Transportation and Works advises that the MV Northern Ranger is scheduled to depart Lewisporte for Black Tickle, Cartwright, Rigolet and Happy Valley-Goose Bay on June 1. The marine terminal in Lewisporte will begin accepting freight for Black Tickle and Rigolet on May 30.

The vessel will begin its southern Labrador passenger and freight schedule from Happy Valley-Goose Bay to Rigolet, Cartwright and Black Tickle on June 3. The marine terminal in Happy Valley-Goose Bay will begin accepting freight for Black Tickle and Rigolet on June 2.

Scheduled service to ports north to Nain will begin as ice conditions permit.

The freight vessel the MV Dutch Runner is expected to begin freight service from Lewisporte to ports north to Nain when ice conditions permit.
