Media Advisory: Ministers to Introduce New Air Ambulance

The Honourable Tom Hedderson, Minister of Transportation and Works, and the Honourable Jerome Kennedy, Minister of Health and Community Services, will introduce the new air ambulance aircraft to be based in St. John’s. The event will take place at 2:00 p.m. today (Thursday, March 10) at the Department of Transportation and Works Hanger Number 3, RCAF Road, St. John’s.

Budget 2010: The Right Investments – For Our Children and Our Future allocated $8 million for the purchase of a new air ambulance aircraft to replace the aging aircraft based in St. John’s.
