Recreational Infrastructure Investment for Arnold’s Cove
The Arnold’s Cove Recreation Association has received $15,000 through the Provincial Government’s Capital Grant Program to assist with repairs to the recreation and sports complex and upgrades to existing sporting equipment.
“This funding is being used to help offset costs for repairs to the ice hockey rink and ball field, and the purchase of various pieces of sporting equipment,” said the Honourable Terry French, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Recreation. “This facility has contributed to the well-being of the residents of Arnold’s Cove for many years, and we recognize the importance of its continued existence for many more years to come.”
The Arnold’s Cove Recreation Association is among more than 50 community-based organizations, municipalities and recreation commissions that have received funding to upgrade their recreation and sport infrastructure through the latest Capital Grant Program investments.
“This grant will be of great benefit to the Arnold’s Cove Recreation Association,” said Bellevue MHA Calvin Peach. “These investments help make necessary improvements that lend to safer recreation facilities and equipment for residents to utilize and enjoy.”
