Provincial Minor Basketball Championships

The Newfoundland and Labrador Basketball Association will have 65 teams competing in the Grade 9 Boys and Girls Provincials this weekend, April1 - 3.

Competition will take place in nine venues across the province including: Regina High and GC Rowe Schools in Corner Brook; New World Island in Summerford; Laval High in Placentia; Roncalli High in Avondale; Baltimore School in Ferryland; and, Macdonald Dr., Br. Rice and Booth Memorial of St. John’s.

Play gets under way on Friday afternoon and will conclude with the championship games Saturday evening or Sunday afternoon. For a complete list of all teams and schedules please visit the NLBA website at www.nlba.nf.ca or contact the provincial office at 576-0247.
