Media Advisory: Ministers to Participate in Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador Convention
Three Cabinet ministers will participate in the 61st annual Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador Convention and Trade Show that begins today (Thursday, November 3) in Corner Brook. The convention concludes Saturday, November 5, with all events taking place at the Pepsi Studio.
The Honourable Tom Hedderson, Minister of Transportation and Works, will participate in the Tidy Towns Awards ceremony and luncheon today (Thursday, November 3) at 12:15 p.m.
The Honourable Tom Marshall, Minister of Finance and President of Treasury Board, will provide remarks during the convention opening ceremonies today (Thursday, November 3) at 6:30 p.m.
The Honourable Kevin O’Brien, Minister of Municipal Affairs, will be the keynote speaker and present long service awards at the appreciation banquet Saturday, November 5, at 6:30 p.m.
