Media Advisory: Minister to Present New Firefighting Vehicles

The Honourable Kevin O’Brien, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Minister Responsible for Fire and Emergency Services, will be in Harcourt and on the Bonavista Peninsula tomorrow (Saturday, June 11) to officially present two new firefighting vehicles.

Minister O’Brien will be joined by the Honourable Ross Wiseman, Minister of Environment and Conservation and MHA for Trinity North, to present a new tanker truck to the community of Harcourt-Gin Cove-Monroe-Waterville. The event will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the community fire hall, Main Road, Harcourt.

In the afternoon, Minister O’Brien will be in Trinity Bay North to mark the arrival of a new fire rescue vehicle. The minister will be accompanied by the Honourable Roger Fitzgerald, MHA for Bonavista South. The presentation will get underway at 2:30 p.m. at the Trinity Bay North Fire Hall, Main Road, Catalina.
