Media Advisory: Minister to Make Announcements in Central Newfoundland
On Monday, June 6, the Honourable Kevin O’Brien, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Minister Responsible for Fire and Emergency Services, will be joined by the Honourable Susan Sullivan, Minister of Innovation, Trade and Rural Development and MHA for Grand Falls-Buchans, to officially present a new fire rescue vehicle to the Town of Buchans.
Buchans Mayor Derm Corbett and members of the Buchans Volunteer Fire Department will also be present at the event which will take place at 11:00 a.m. at the Buchans Fire Hall.
Later that day, Minister O’Brien and Minister Sullivan will be at the Badger Community Centre along with Mayor Michael Patey to announce a Municipal Capital Works initiative for the community. The event begins at 1:30 p.m.
