Media Advisory: Minister to Unveil New Fire Truck for the Community of Hampden

The Honourable Kevin O’Brien, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Minister Responsible for Fire and Emergency Services, will present a new fire truck to the community of Hampden today (Friday, May 20). Minister O’Brien will be joined by Humber Valley MHA Darryl Kelly, Mayor Jerry Martin and municipal councillors, as well as members of the Hampden Volunteer Fire Department for a motorcade around the community. The event will begin at 1:00 p.m. from the Hampden Fire Hall, 74 Country Road, Hampden.

Following the motorcade, students from Hampden Academy and members of the general public will meet at the fire hall for the official presentation and reception.
