Media Advisory: Ministers to Address Delegates of the
Combined Councils of Labrador Annual General Meeting

Several Cabinet Ministers will address delegates during the Combined Councils of Labrador (CCL) annual general meeting taking place this week.

On Friday, February 25, the Honourable Patty Pottle, Minister of Aboriginal Affairs, will bring greetings to delegates and invited guests during Cultural Evening festivities taking place at the Labrador Interpretation Centre in North West River, beginning at 7:00 p.m.

On Saturday, February 26, the Honourable John Hickey, Minister of Labrador Affairs, will speak to delegates and invited guests at the CCL closing banquet. The event will take place at the Masonic Lodge in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, at 7:00 p.m.

As well, Cabinet ministers will make presentations to delegates during the meetings taking place at the Hotel North Two in Happy Valley-Goose Bay.

On Friday, February 25, a presentation by the Honourable Jerome Kennedy, Minster of Health and Community Services will begin at 8:15 a.m. The Honourable Tom Hedderson, Minister of Transportation and Works will present at 1:45 p.m.

On Saturday, February 26, the Honourable Terry French, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Recreation will present at 9:30 a.m. The presentation by the Honourable Kevin O’Brien, Minister of Municipal Affairs, will start at 3:15 p.m.
