Media Advisory: Minister to Make Health Care Funding
Announcements on the Burin Peninsula

The Honourable Jerome Kennedy, Minister of Health and Community Services, will make three health care funding announcements in the communities of Burin, St. Lawrence and Grand Bank tomorrow (Wednesday, August 3).

Minister Kennedy will be joined by the Honourable Clyde Jackman, Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture and MHA for Burin-Placentia West; the Honourable Darin King, Minister of Human Resources, Labour and Employment and MHA for Grand Bank; and, Vickie Kaminski, President and CEO, Eastern Health.

The event in Burin will take place in the lobby of the Burin Peninsula Healthcare Centre at 11:00 a.m.

The event in St. Lawrence will take place in the conference room of the U.S Memorial Community Health Centre at 1:00 p.m.

The event in Grand Bank will take place at the Blue Crest Senior Citizens Cottages at 3:00 p.m.
