Media Advisory: Minister to Make Funding Announcements in Labrador

The Honourable Jerome Kennedy, Minister of Health and Community Services, will make two announcements tomorrow (Friday, July 15) at the Labrador Health Centre in Happy Valley-Goose Bay.

The first event will take place at 11:00 a.m. in the health centre’s atrium to announce funding for north coast mental health and infrastructure initiatives. Minister Kennedy will be joined by the Honourable Patty Pottle, Minister of Aboriginal Affairs; Patricia Kemuksigak, Minister of Health and Social Development, Nunatsiavut Government; and, Boyd Rowe, CEO, Labrador-Grenfell Health.

The second event will take place at 12:00 p.m. in the health centre’s conference room to announce funding for the Labrador Heath Centre. Minister Kennedy will be joined by the Honourable John Hickey, Minister of Labrador Affairs, and MHA for Lake Melville; Boyd Rowe, CEO, Labrador-Grenfell Health; and, Leo Abbass, Mayor of Happy Valley-Goose Bay.
