Public Advisory: Pre-Budget Consultations in Labrador
Rescheduled for March 10

The Department of Finance advises the public that the pre-budget consultations in Labrador City and Happy Valley-Goose Bay that were recently postponed have now been rescheduled for Thursday, March 10.

The consultation in Labrador City will take place 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Chamber Room, Town of Labrador City.

The consultation in Happy Valley-Goose Bay will take place 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at the Labrador Friendship Centre.

Individuals who were registered for the previously scheduled sessions have been contacted by the Department of Finance to reschedule.

Others who wish to participate in one of these meetings are requested to register 48 hours in advance by phoning 709-729-2944 or e-mailing budget@gov.nl.ca.

For those unable to attend, written submissions can be made via mail to: Minister of Finance, c/o Pre-Budget 2011, Department of Finance, P.O. Box 8700, St. John’s, NL, A1B 4J6. Submissions may also be e-mailed to budgetsubmissions@gov.nl.ca or faxed to 709-729-2070.
