Public Advisory: T’Railway Provincial Park
Reopens from Clarenville to Goobies

The Honourable Ross Wiseman, Minister of Environment and Conservation, advises the public that the section of the T’Railway Provincial Park from Clarenville to Goobies is reopened for public use.

Construction activities are ongoing between Thorburn Lake and Port Blandford. Heavy equipment is operating in this area, and the section will remain closed to the public until the repair work has been completed. For safety reasons, the public is advised to refrain from using the T'Railway on the remaining closed section until repairs have been completed and the section has been reopened.

The area between Port Blandford and Thorburn Lake is the only section of the T’Railway Provincial Park that remains closed as a result of Hurricane Igor damage. It is anticipated that repair work on this section will be completed in the coming days.
