Public Advisory: Searston Gut Bridge Closed to
All Traffic
The Department of Transportation and Works advises
that due to safety concerns identified during an engineering inspection,
the Searston Gut Bridge, between Searston and Millville in the Codroy
Valley, has been closed to all traffic until further notice. The
inspection identified deterioration of one of the bridge's pier
foundations.
People wishing to travel to and from the north side of
the Searston Gut are advised to use the Grand Codroy River Bridge.
