to Upgrade School Recreation Areas
The Town of Conception Bay South has been granted $15,000 from the
Community Capital Grants Program to improve its recreation
infrastructure at two schools within the municipality.
"Frank Roberts Junior High School will be provided $10,000 to assist
with the installation of fencing around a new basketball court — the

while Upper Gullies Elementary School will be provided $5,000 to help
landscape a recreation area behind the school," said the Honourable
Terry French, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Recreation, and MHA for
Conception Bay South. "These investments will help ensure children and
youth will have safe and inviting areas to engage in outdoor sports and
activity after school."

province which have received funding to purchase equipment and upgrade
their recreation and sport infrastructure through the most recent
