Minister to Announce Funding
for Heart and Stroke Foundation Campaign
The Honourable Terry French, Minister of
Tourism, Culture and Recreation, will join George Tilley, Chief
Executive Officer of the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Newfoundland and
Labrador, for an important announcement regarding an investment in
Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) for stadiums in the province.
AEDs are emergency equipment designed to increase the chances of
survival in the event an individual suffers cardiac arrest. The event
will take place on Wednesday, May 19, at the Holiday Inn in St. John's,
beginning at 11:30 a.m.
