Media Advisory: Minister Available to Provide Update on Hurricane Igor Response

The Honourable Tom Hedderson, Minister of Transportation and Works and Acting Minister of Municipal Affairs and Minister Responsible for Fire and Emergency Services, will be available this afternoon (Saturday, September 25) to provide details on the provincial response to Hurricane Igor and the involvement of the Canadian Armed Forces. Minister Hedderson will be joined by Brigadier General Tony Stack, Deputy Commander for Land Force Atlantic Area with the Canadian Forces.

The news conference will take place at 2:30 p.m. at the office of Fire and Emergency Services - Newfoundland and Labrador, 25 Hallett Crescent, St. John's.
