Media Advisory: Minister to Participate in Miawpukek First Nation Traditional Powwow

The Honourable Patty Pottle, Minister of Aboriginal Affairs, will take part in the Miawpukek First Nation Traditional Powwow today (Friday, July 2) in Conne River.

This is the 15th annual powwow for the Miawpukek First Nation. Throughout the event, visitors can witness and participate in the sharing of culture and traditions through activities such as traditional drum dancing, sacred ceremonies and feasts.

The powwow concludes July 4.
