Media Advisory: Update on Collective Bargaining in Voisey's Bay Strike

Parties involved in the Voisey's Bay Strike are adjourning negotiations and will return to the bargaining table on Saturday, October 2, 2010.

On September 16, the Honourable Susan Sullivan, Minister of Human Resources, Labour and Employment, appointed Bill Wells to serve as an independent mediator to help facilitate a resolution to the Voisey's Bay strike in Labrador.

A media blackout has been imposed by Mr. Wells.
