Media Advisory: Ministers to Announce Next Step in Implementation of New Highway Signage System

The Honourable Clyde Jackman, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Recreation, and the Honourable Kevin O�Brien, Minister of Government Services, will hold a news conference tomorrow (Wednesday, April 22) to announce the next step in the province�s planned implementation of a new highway signage system based on the Tourist-Oriented Directional Signage (TODS) model. The ministers will be joined by representatives of Hospitality Newfoundland and Labrador and Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador.

The news conference will take place at the Media Centre, Ground Floor, East Block, Confederation Building at 10:00 a.m. The news conference will be preceded by a technical briefing for the media, which will take place at 9:30 a.m.
