The following is being distributed at the request of Sport Newfoundland and Labrador:

NLBA Hall of Fame Cup/Elite Eight Basketball Championship

The Newfoundland and Labrador Basketball Association (NLBA) are hosting the provinces top 8 male and female teams this weekend to compete for the Hall of Fame Cup. The championship will take place at the Newfoundland and Labrador Sports Centre on Crosbie Road in St. John�s. The top eight male and female teams include:

Female:
1. Gonzaga
2. St. Kevin�s
3 Booth Memorial
4. Holy Heart
5. Bishop�s
6. St. Bon�s
7. St. Lawrence
8. Mobile High
Male
1. Holy Heart
2. Bishops
3. Gonzaga
4. Mt. Pearl
5. Booth
6. Roncalli
7. St. Catherine�s
8. Fatima

Competition will commence on Friday afternoon at 5:00 p.m. and will continue through the weekend with the championship games slated for 9:30a.m. and 11:30 a.m. on Sunday.
