Mayor Harry Hallett,
Nominating Committee Chair of the Municipal Assessment
Agency is pleased to announce the re-election of Deputy
Mayor Terry Hancock of Forteau as the Labrador Director
on the agency�s board. Deputy Mayor Hancock was returned
by acclamation. Five other director positions are being
contested.

ballots must be returned to the agency�s auditor, Mr.
John Morgan, by 4 p.m. NST, December 18, 2009.
The Municipal Assessment
Agency provides real property assessment service to 228
municipalities across the province. Its board is
representative of the Agency�s stakeholders with six
municipal representatives, two taxpayer representatives,
and a representative from Municipalities Newfoundland
and Labrador, and from the Professional Municipal
Administrators � Newfoundland and Labrador.
