Media Advisory: Minister to Address Youth Justice Camp

The Honourable Patty Pottle, Minister of Aboriginal Affairs, will be in Nain tomorrow (Saturday, May 2) to join participants in a Youth Justice Camp organized by the Public Legal Information Association of Newfoundland (PLIAN). Minister Pottle will be at Jens Haven Memorial School at 10:30 a.m. to meet and speak with camp participants.

This will be the first time PLIAN has held a Youth Justice Camp in Nain. The purpose of the two-day camp is to educate youth aged 12-15 about the legal system while creating an environment to meet new people and foster leadership skills. Activities include a tour of the Nain RCMP detachment and a mock trial.
