Innovation, Trade and Rural Development August 11, 2009 Media Advisory: Minister to Announce First Investment Under Oceans of Opportunity The Honourable Shawn Skinner, Minister of Innovation, Trade and Rural Development, will announce the initial investment under the recently released Oceans of Opportunity, a five-year $28 million strategy focused on stimulating growth in Newfoundland and Labrador�s ocean technology sector, tomorrow (Wednesday, August 12) at 10:00 a.m. The news conference will be held in Hampton Hall at the Fisheries and Marine Institute of Memorial University (MI) in St. John�s.
