Minister to Address National Marine Engineering Conference
The Honourable Shawn Skinner, Minister of Innovation,
Trade and Rural Development, will deliver the keynote address at the
Canadian Institute of Marine Engineering�s Mari-Tech 2009 conference
tomorrow (Friday, May 15) at 12:30 p.m. at the Sheraton Hotel in St.
John�s.
The annual conference brings together senior
decision-markers from the Canadian marine industry to discuss the
engineering challenges and opportunities of working in northern
ice-covered and harsh environments.
The Canadian Institute of Marine Engineering advances
and promotes the science and practice of marine engineering, naval
engineering, naval architecture, ocean engineering, marine electrics and
electronics, control engineering and other associated professions in
Canada.
