Advisory: Minister to Make Presentation
to Winner of Addictions The Honourable Ross Wiseman, Minister of Health and Community Services, will make a presentation to Emily Hughes, winner of the Get Up On It T-shirt design contest on Monday, February 23 at 10:30 a.m. in Clarenville High School. Get Up On It was introduced in 2005 to educate youth on the effects of drugs, alcohol and problem gambling and to encourage them to avoid substance use. Each year, the campaign takes on a new focus for the prevention of adolescent substance use and gambling problems.
