Advisory: Council of Atlantic Premiers Meets in
Churchill Falls, Newfoundland and Labrador on November 20
The Honourable Danny
Williams, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will
host the 17th Session of the Council of Atlantic
Premiers in Churchill Falls on November 20. In addition
to Premier Williams, Premiers Darrell Dexter, Robert
Ghiz, and Shawn Graham will attend.
Premiers will receive status reports with respect to
activities of the past year including the Atlantic
Gateway, as well as a report on the Council of the
Federation Large-Scale Hydro Forum held recently in St.
John�s. Premiers will discuss energy cooperation among
the Atlantic provinces, positions of the four provinces
in regard to climate change, and the importance of
Canada�s economic relationship with the United States.

premiers may be arranged by contacting each premier�s
