Media Advisory: Minister to Address Friends of Pippy Park Luncheon

The Honourable Dave Denine, Minister for Intergovernmental Affairs and Minister Responsible for the Volunteer and Non-Profit Sector, on behalf of the Honourable Charlene Johnson, Minister of Environment and Conservation, will address attendees of the Friends of Pippy Park 25th anniversary luncheon today (Wednesday,November 25) at 12:00 noon at the Admiral�s Green Clubhouse, Pippy Park, St. John�s.

The luncheon will celebrate 25 years for the Friends of Pippy Park as an organization and recognize the volunteer efforts of its members.

Founded in 1984, the Friends of Pippy Park is a non-profit group dedicated to enhancing the experience of visitors to the park and sponsoring projects to further the objectives of Pippy Park.
