announced the following events relative to Part 10
Environmental Assessment of the Environmental Protection
Act.
GUIDELINES FOR ENVIRONMENTAL PREVIEW REPORT:
Parsons Pond Oil Exploration and Access Road
Proponent: Leprechaun Resources Limited
(Reg. 1411)
The guidelines for the preparation of the Environmental
Preview Report for the proposed project were issued to
the proponent on August 11, 2009. The guidelines will
provide direction to the proponent, and will identify
the information that will be required relative to the
anticipated effects of the project on the environment.
The guidelines, along with additional information on the
project, are available on the department�s website at

The undertaking was released subject to the following
condition:
- The proponent must
develop monitoring survey protocols in consultation
with the Wildlife Division for waterfowl, other bird
species, and for any species at risk that might be
within the cranberry farm site area. The annual
results of these monitoring surveys will be provided
to, and discussed with the Wildlife Division and
Canadian Wildlife Service. In addition, mitigation
measures should be developed to reduce
human-waterfowl interactions during construction and
operation of the cranberry farm.

The undertaking was released subject to the following
condition:
- Prior to
construction you must, in consultation with the
Wildlife Division, undertake a botanical survey
along the shoreline and river�s edge landing sites
of the proposed bridge. This survey should be
undertaken by a qualified botanist to identify any
rare plants within the project footprint.
