Tourism, Culture and Recreation May 2, 2008 Media Advisory: Minister to Present Artist of the Year Award The Honourable Clyde Jackman, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Recreation, will join artists from across the province to celebrate excellence and achievement in arts over the past year at the Newfoundland and Labrador Arts Council (NLAC) Awards and Gala, Saturday, May 3, at the Reid Theatre in St. John�s, beginning at 8:00 p.m. Minister Jackman will join filmmaker Gerry Rogers to present the Artist of the Year Award.
