The Honourable Patty Pottle, Minister of Aboriginal Affairs, will be in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, July 29-31, to attend the second annual National Aboriginal Women�s Summit (NAWS II).

The summit will provide an opportunity for Aboriginal women from across Canada to build upon the recommendations coming out of the first National Aboriginal Women�s Summit that took place in Corner Brook in June 2007. The NAWS II agenda will include the following themes: Health, Safety and Wellness; Equality and Empowerment; and, Strength, Balance and Honour.
