Media Advisory: Minister Marks Arrival
of Research Vessel in St. John�s
The Honourable Trevor Taylor, Minister of Innovation,
Trade and Rural Development, will speak at an event marking the arrival
of the research vessel Endeavor in St. John�s on Monday, July 28.
Doctors Ray Gosine, Associate Vice-President Research at Memorial
University and Kate Moran, Associate Dean of Oceanography at the
University of Rhode Island, along with Glenn Blackwood, Executive
Director of the Marine Institute, will also participate in the event.
The event will take place at 11:00 a.m. on St. John�s
Waterfront (across from Atlantic Place). Media representatives are
invited to accompany Minister Taylor and other guests on tour of the
Endeavor following the event. The vessel will be open to the general
public between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.
