Media Advisory: Province to Announce Funding
for a New Career and Employment Program

The Honourable Shawn Skinner, Minister of Human Resources, Labour and Employment, will officially announce funding for a new career and employment program operated by the Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB). The announcement will take place today (Monday, September 15) at 1:30 p.m. at the CNIB Centre, 70 The Boulevard, St. John�s.

The CNIB is the primary source of support, information and most importantly, hope, for all Canadians affected by vision loss. The CNIB�s new employment counseling services are designed to significantly enhance the career prospects of all Newfoundlanders and Labradorians with vision loss.
