Minister to Speak at The Honourable Shawn Skinner, Minister of Human Resources, Labour and Employment, will address over 100 delegates attending the second annual Violence Prevention Initiative Stakeholders Conference. The event is scheduled for 8:30 a.m., tomorrow (Wednesday, March 26), in the Anchor Room, Battery Hotel, St. John�s. Minister Skinner will also participate in the provincial launch of the violence prevention DVD, Broken Hearts and Broken Homes, tomorrow evening, at 7:00 p.m., in the After Cabin Room, Battery Hotel. The Violence Prevention Initiative is a six-year, $9.2 million, commitment by the Provincial Government to work in partnership with community groups to address violence in Newfoundland and Labrador. - 30 - Media contacts:
