Executive Council November 10, 2008 Media Advisory: Premier to Unveil Plaque Honouring Afghanistan Soldiers The Honourable Danny Williams, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will unveil a plaque honouring Canadian soldiers involved in the Afghanistan conflict. The unveiling will take place during the Remembrance Day Ceremony at the National War Memorial on Duckworth Street tomorrow, November 11. Representatives of The Royal Canadian Legion, along with some of the family members of fallen Newfoundland and Labrador soldiers, will also be in attendance.
