Transportation and Works December 5, 2007 Public Advisory: Christmas Lights Across Canada Ceremony The Honourable Dianne Whalen, Minister of Transportation and Works, will host the annual Christmas Lights Across Canada ceremony tomorrow (Thursday, December 6), at 6:15 p.m., in the main lobby of Confederation Building, East Block. This is part of a national celebration as provincial capitals across the country turn on their Christmas lights. Minister Whalen will be joined by Master of Ceremonies Deborah Collins of Rogers Television, the Royal Newfoundland Regiment Band and the Cape St. Francis Elementary Performance Choir.
