2009 Canada Games Coaches for Indoor and Beach Volleyball Appointed

The Newfoundland and Labrador Volleyball Association is pleased to announce the 2009 Canada Games coaches for both the male and female indoor and beach teams.

Mellissa Oates has been named indoor head coach of the Women�s Program and Derrick March has been named the assistant coach. Mellissa, a Level 3 technical coach, former Canada Games athlete and current MUN women�s head coach, will be joined by Derrick March. Derrick, a Level 3 technical coach, is current head coach of the top high school team, the Ascension Collegiate Astros.

Luke Harris has been named indoor head coach of the Men�s Program and Janice Hayward has been named the assistant coach. Luke, a Level 3 technical coach and current MUN men�s head coach will be joined by Janice Hayward. Janice, a Level 2 technical coach, is current head coach of the top high school team, the Discovery Collegiate Destroyers.

Finton Gaudette has been named beach head coach of the Women�s Program. Finton a former Canada Games indoor and beach coach is a fully Level 3 indoor facilitator and a current Level 2 beach facilitator. Finton is currently head coach of the Corner Brook Regional High female team that is one of the top teams in NL.

Terry Mosher has been named beach head coach of the Men�s Program. Terry, a former Canada Games indoor coach, is a fully Level 3 indoor facilitator and a current Level 2 beach facilitator. Terry currently is the assistant coach of the MUN Men�s Program.
