Tourism, Culture and Recreation May 3, 2007 Media Advisory: Minister to Announce Details of Cultural Plan Year II Tourism, Culture and Recreation Minister, the Honourable Tom Hedderson, will announce details of increased support in Budget 2007 to provincial arts programs, heritage organizations and cultural attractions at a news conference tomorrow (Friday, May 4) at the Corner Brook Museum, beginning at noon. Minister Hedderson and representatives from the province�s arts and heritage communities will reveal a number of initiatives contained in year two of the province�s cultural plan Creative Newfoundland and Labrador: The Blueprint for Developing and Investing in Culture, a $17.6 million three-year plan to promote and preserve the province�s culture and heritage. -30- Media contact: 2007 05 03 11:00 a.m.
