Atlantic Diving Results

The Atlantic Diving Championships were held in Halifax Nova Scotia this past week-end with divers from Quebec, Ontario and the Maritime provinces competing. Edge Diving, under head coach Cathy Carroll sent nine divers to the event.

Kate McCarthy, 16 of Holyrood, qualified on the tower for her age group and also for senior nationals. She brings home a gold and silver medal in the tower events.

Aaron Thorne of Torbay, 13, won two silver and one bronze, meeting the qualifying standard on all three boards.

Quinn Crane from St. John's, qualified for age group nationals on the 3m board

Nine year old Kaitlin Thomas of St. John's, earned a gold medal on the tower and silver medals on the 3m and 1m.

Nine year olds Liam Maher of St. John's and Riley Crane of St. John's also competed and together with Thomas, came very close to meeting the qualifying standard.
