Labrador and Aboriginal Affairs August 3, 2007 Media Advisory: Minister to Speak at Labrador Canoe Regatta The Honourable John Hickey, Minister Responsible for Labrador Affairs and MHA for Lake Melville District, will speak at the opening and closing ceremonies of the 24th Annual North Labrador Canoe Regatta at Gosling Lake. Opening ceremonies are 10 a.m., Saturday, August 4, while closing ceremonies are slated for 6 p.m., Monday, August 6. The Labrador Canoe Regatta takes place over three days.
