Media Advisory: Minister to Speak at First Unmanned
Aerial Vehicle Student Competition

The Honourable John Hickey, Minister Responsible for Labrador Affairs, will address participants, local and federal officials, and organizers at the closing banquet of the first Unmanned Vehicle Systems of Canada (UVS) Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) student competition. The event will take place 7:00 p.m., Sunday, May 6, at the Masonic Lodge, Happy Valley-Goose Bay.

UVS is a national, non-profit organization representing private and public interests in unmanned vehicle systems. This year�s UAV student competition is the first ever in Canada.
