Media Advisory: Opening of House of Assembly
and Reading of Throne Speech

The Honourable Tom Rideout, Government House Leader, today provided details regarding the official opening of the spring session of the House of Assembly and the reading of the Speech from the Throne.

On Tuesday, April 24, at 10:00 a.m. His Honour, the Honourable Edward Roberts, Lieutenant Governor will prorogue the Third Session of the Forty-Fifth General Assembly of the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador at the House of Assembly.

At 2:00 p.m., the Lieutenant Governor will read the Speech from the Throne to officially open the session.
