Media Advisory: Minister to Attend
Federal-Provincial-Territorial The Honourable Tom Marshall, Minister of Finance and President of Treasury Board, will attend a meeting of Provincial and Territorial Finance Ministers and a meeting of Federal, Provincial and Territorial Finance Ministers in Ottawa, Wednesday, December 12. Meetings will include discussions on economic and fiscal priorities for upcoming federal and provincial budgets. The Governor of the Bank of Canada, David Dodge will join the federal, provincial and territorial meeting to discuss the role and responsibility of the Bank of Canada with respect to monetary policy. -30- Media contact: 2007 12 11 10:50 a.m. |
