Environment and Conservation February 13, 2007 Environmental Assessment Bulletin The Honourable Clyde Jackman, Minister of Environment and Conservation, has announced the following events relative to Part 10 Environmental Assessment of the Environmental Protection Act.

Long Harbour Commercial Nickel Processing Plant
Project (Reg. 1243) The proponent has submitted the required Socio-economic Component Study for the environmental assessment of the above undertaking. Public comments must be received not later than March 19, 2007. The minister will decide the acceptability of the study not later than Tuesday April 3, 2007, upon receiving recommendations from the EA Committee.
