Office of the Chief Electoral Officer February 13, 2007 Amendment Date of Official Count The following Amended News Release is being distributed at the request of Charles J. Furey, Chief Electoral Officer. The date of the official count was incorrectly reported. The correct date of the official count should read Thursday, February 15, 2007, beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the office of the Returning Officer, Ms. Duane Tompkins, located at 4A Church Street, Deer Lake. Upon conclusion of the official addition of the votes, the candidate who receives the largest number of votes for the district shall be declared elected by the returning officer. -30- Media contact: 2007 02 13
